ANOTHER CAPE VERDIAN RUNNED IN BROCKTON

It happened, yesterday Thursday, around 7:15 pm again on Main St, a short distance from the place where a police car fatally harvested gold from a Cape Verdean citizen last August.

Only this time, the author of the hit-and-run has fled the scene of the accident and the police are looking for him.

The victim, identified as Luis Heleno da Silveira, 54, was immediately taken to a hospital in Boston with multiple and serious injuries.

His real state of health is currently unknown but he deserves some special treatment.

Heleno, as he is known, broke his hip and suffered head trauma, which requires special attention and greater concern from the medical services.
